Children's sleepwear must meet flammability requirements. If your garments are not treated with flame-retardant chemicals, they must include a tight-fitting disclaimer and have the product size printed on permanent tags. In accordance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and as part of the Labeling Requirements for Tight-Fitting Sleepwear, all children's sleepwear that is tight-fitting must bear a label stating “Wear Snug-fitting, Not Flame Resistant.”
These labels provide supplementary information to fulfill the CPSC requirements for sleepwear, ensuring safety standards are met. Additionally, they should be used in conjunction with yellow sleepwear hang tags and tracking labels to ensure full compliance with regulations.
Label Requirements:
The text must be printed on the front of the sizing label located on the center back of the garment and must be immediately below the size designation. The text must be a minimum of 5 point sans serif font in all capital letters and must be set apart from other label text by a line border. The text must contrast with the background color of the label. The label must not be covered by any other label or tag.

We recommend the Zebra 402 or a Laundry pen which we sell in our shop. Do not use a liquid tip or felt-tip pen, it must be ballpoint and permanent ink.
